Turn your arms into a cross-stitch pattern in four easy steps |

Step 1: Draw your arms within the shield on the left. Colour with felt tips/pencil/inks/whatever takes your fancy. |

Step 2: Transfer the design from step 1 above onto the shield on the left but only colour in squares that are completely one colour (ignore the outlines).
Next, if a square has two colours in it, divide the square diagonally as appropriate and colour the two sections in separately

Step 3: Transfer the design from step 2 above onto the shield on the left. Now add the outlines and detailing; these will be done as backstitch on the final embroidery
Step 4: Select the appropriate coloured threads and begin stitching!
